I spent an hour talking to tech support at Samsung before they told me it was set for five minutes (seems like two minutes to me) before it turns itself off. They said it couldn’t be adjusted. I’m still very happy with my purchase, but this is irritating.

Spent hours on chat, email, and phone and FINALLY was told that it is a factory preset...had to get to upper support to finally get the truth. Can't stand having to constantly turn my soundbar back on....PLEASE EVERYONE WITH PROBLEM...GET ON THE PHONE...ASK FOR UPPER LEVEL OF SUPPORT AND ASK FOR A FIRMWARE UPDATE TO EXTEND TO AT LEAST 30 MINS OR TO BE ABLE TO TURN IT OFF. U can turn it off...but only if you are using AUX mode...go figure. But no way in any other input mode. YELL AT SAMSUNG...PLEASE!!!

Many people are having this problem....it is a factory preset that for some odd reason they think is a good idea to save power. At first, noCustomer service gave me all these things to do but NONE of them work. FINALLY...I went up to next level service and they told me there is NO WAY TO FIX IT. I ASKED HIM TO REQUEST A FIRMWARE UPDATE & I hope others will take the time to get to next level customer service and request this firmware update. ISN'T IT ANNOYING AS HECK!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW...IT'S NOT ONLY THE HW-MS750 BUT ALL NEW SAMSUNG SOUNDBARS MADE IN 2017.
