Q: How many pictures does the 8gb sandisk hold
A: Knowing your camera's megapixels and what format you are recording the images in ( JPEG? Raw? Both?) will help as both features affect storage. I have a 24megapixel camera and shoot images in both JPEG and Raw at the highest quality and can put about 110 images on an 8 GB card. If I shot only JPEG at the highest quality I would get about 430 images on the same card. You could do a computer search using your cameras features and probably find a table that would give you this information.
Q: how do I unlock the memory card?
A: Push the little white "lock" switch on the left side of the card up.
Q: For the card, is there a docking station, (cable with USB) for a desk top computer?
A: Just plug it into your computer SD slot, or purchase an adapter with a USB connector
Q: Will this Sandisk- ultra sdhc-i class 10 MEMORY FIT INTO MY SD MINI SLOT ON MY COMPUTER TOWER???
A: Yes, SD memory cards should fit the read slot on your computer. However, some devices use what is known as an Ultra SD Memory Card and the regular SD card will not fit into that slot. Smartphones and Tablets for examples use the smaller card, but then fit into an adapter which makes it appears to me a normal size SD memory card which will fit into your computer's SD card reader slot. Hope this helps you out...
Q: what type of battery does it use/ AND WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF THE CAMERA?
A: This is a memory card, not a camera.
Q: Could this card work on a Tomtom go 630 gps
A: As it takes several hours to download maps a larger memory card appears to be a better choice.
