Say She She - Cut & Rewind / Disco Life - 7-INCH SINGLE [7 inch Vinyl Disc]

Reeling is Say She She's latest emboldened declaration to fight dystopia. Written as an incantation from Mother Earth to the masses to join the rising against the calamitous forces of unfettered capitalism that has left our seas and skies grappling. With soaring harmonics and perfectly in sync voices, the She She's lead the charge to InchKick the Door Down, Smash the ceiling... Leave 'em Reeling.Inch The B-side, 'Don't You Dare Stop,' is a passionate sonnet written about a former flame who once whispered the words... Don't You Dare Stop. Brimming with a yearning so amorous it burns everything to the ground with scorching hot vocals and breathy high tones.

The female-led discodelic soul band Say She She take you tumbling into the blazing inferno of discovering and dodging infidelity with their latest song 'Trouble'. Co-produced by former Daptone touring stalwarts Michael Buckely (Sharon Jones/ Lee Field) and Vince Chiarito (Charles Bradley, Antibalas) at their analog studio, Hive Mind Recording, in Brooklyn. The track carries a classic sound for an age-old trope of feeling like you've reached the end of a beautiful love affair that's run it's course, knowing you're out of time but still susceptible to getting pulled right back into the chaos. The wailing chorus will have you losing your head grappling with weighing up the responsibility of trying to fix a broken relationship and the lure of temptation as you find yourself falling for another. 'Trouble' leaves you engulfed in weaving vocals and gut-wrenching vibrato - caught between lofty desire and rock hard rejection.

The B-side is Say She She's first original Christmas song. 'This Wintertime' is a heartfelt carroll composed with love, nostalgia and a room full of kin. The track serves as a reminder that perhaps the greatest gift of all to give during the season is in fact simply a sweet song and to let music will make us merry.
