Say She She - Reeling / Don't You Dare Stop - 7-INCH SINGLE [7 inch Vinyl Disc]

Karma Chief Records (a division of Colemine Records) is proud to bring a dance-floor filling disco 45 of two hot tracks from Say She She's newest LP 'Cut & Rewind.' The NYC punk-chic, discodelic funk band returned with their third studio LP last October. It's a politically-charged, dancefloor-crushing record led by the powerhouse vocal trio of Piya Malik, Sabrina Mileo Cunningham, and Nya Gazelle Brown. The A-side, title track 'Cut & Rewind,' is post-punk femme-funk track featuring the group's sweeping harmonies and undeniable funk base/bass line. The song is principally autobiographical but also layered with subtle salutes to songwriting legends. The group recently performed the B-side, 'Disco Life,' live on Jimmy Kimmel. The upbeat, groove-forward track decries the racism and homophobia of Steve Dahl's 1979 InchDisco Demolition Night,Inch reclaiming the dancefloor as Incha playing field where all are free.Inch

The female-led discodelic soul band Say She She take you tumbling into the blazing inferno of discovering and dodging infidelity with their latest song 'Trouble'. Co-produced by former Daptone touring stalwarts Michael Buckely (Sharon Jones/ Lee Field) and Vince Chiarito (Charles Bradley, Antibalas) at their analog studio, Hive Mind Recording, in Brooklyn. The track carries a classic sound for an age-old trope of feeling like you've reached the end of a beautiful love affair that's run it's course, knowing you're out of time but still susceptible to getting pulled right back into the chaos. The wailing chorus will have you losing your head grappling with weighing up the responsibility of trying to fix a broken relationship and the lure of temptation as you find yourself falling for another. 'Trouble' leaves you engulfed in weaving vocals and gut-wrenching vibrato - caught between lofty desire and rock hard rejection.

Say She She's debut 45 features InchForget Me Not,Inch an homage to New York City's Guerilla Girls and to all the women's rights and protest movements who have paved the way for change. Doused in the funkiest rhythm section and bursting at the seams with harmonies, the song is a psychedelic siren's call to disrupt and dismantle male dominated spaces. InchBlow My MindInch is the fiery and seductive B-side. A song about returning to reignite the fire of a former flame you still carry the torch for - even after all these years. The impassioned and sultry cries InchMayday in my heyday, crying out for you to save me!Inch teeter between youthful yearning and blazing independence. Let the dreamscape bridges guide you to climactic hindi riffs, accented with operatic cries that will lift you yonder.
