Fitted to our light-absorbing velvet wrapped Zero Edge frame, this screen perfects the appearance of a modern ultra large TV without the problem of glare. • Short throw – Contrast is king: Screen Innovations uses a unique formula providing the deepest black levels possible in a Short Throw material. Short Throw (ST) uses nearly invisible lenticular optics to reject light from above and out of the room, only allowing light from the UST projector placed below the screen. This provides incredible contrast performance in a well-lit room, resulting in better color accuracy and image brightness possible out of your UST projector.
• Light Scatter Prevention: Imagine window blinds, barely opened. The downward facing lenticular optics prevent light from the projector bouncing off the screen and scattering throughout the room. This is especially beneficial when using in a dark environment. ST will redirect the light from the projector back towards the viewer, instead of towards your ceiling, for the optimal viewing experience. This is why our ST material is recommended for UST projectors in both well-lit and dark rooms.
