  Shark Rotator Lift-Away Upright Vacuum with Powerfins and Self-Cleaning Brushroll offers both portability and powerful suction with the addition of the powerfins to help get all the dust, dirt and debris out of your carpets and off your floors. I have always been a fan of shark because they offer a quality product for a reasonable price, and this vacuum cleaner is no different. It offers the portability of a lightweight canister cleaner allowing you to easily vacuum stairs and remove dust from every corner of your home without sacrificing on power. So, lets go over the features and PROS and CONS on the Shark Rotator Lift-Away vacuum cleaner. PROS: Lightweight Design – You can lift it with a finger Turns into a canister vacuum cleaner for portability Great Suction Varity of attachments Cord Length (30 Feet) Powerfins dig deep into carpets to pull up dust, dirt and debris Large Dust Collection Cup Anti- Allergen Seal – HEPA FILTER No tools required for assembly LED light CONS: Not enough room for attachments Unboxing and Setup: The vacuum cleaner does require some assembly. It arrives nicely packed in what seemed like recycled material. Assembly does not require any tools, everything pretty much just snaps and locks in together. The setup will probably take a few minutes and you are ready to get cleaning. Suction, Powerfins and Maneuverability: The vacuum cleaner offers impressive suction. The dust and dirt you see in the picture was picked up after my robot vacuum cleaner had already done its duty, and yes, some robot vacuum cleaners do not offer the greatest suction power, but for this vacuum to pick up all that dirt is still pretty impressive. The powerfins accompany rows of bristles In an alternating patter directing debris, especially hair, toward the center of the roller where is can more easily be drawn up into the dust chamber in the vacuum. The Powerfins dig into the carpets to remove all the dust that other vacuum cleaners leave behind and having multiple women in the house my rollers are usually full of hair and if you have removed hair from a roller before you know that it is not fun. You will no longer have to worry about removing hair and even cleaning the roller and no, the hair does not roll on to the end of the roller, but rather gets sucked in. I have been using this vacuum cleaner daily for about a week now and have not noticed any hair in the roller. The vacuum is easy to maneuver in any direction with and can basically be laid flat to reach under furniture. Lightweight and Portability: This vacuum is so light that you can literally lift it with a finger. The vacuum weighs about 13.8 lbs. with the roller attachment and 9.4 lbs. with out it. In canister mode the vacuum cleaner is great for cleaning up stairs and up high. Filtration: There are four levels of filtration on the Shark Rotator Lift-Away vacuum. The first is the Lint Screen within the dirt cup, which catches larger debris. Beneath the dirt cup, there is a rinseable Foam filter and a rinseable Felt filter, which prevent particulates from entering the motor. Lastly, the air is sent through a rinseable HEPA filter. The result is a dust and allergen free exhaust. Overall, the Shark Rotator Lift-Away is powerful and Portable. It has demonstrated its cleaning ability in my household on a daily basis. The vacuum cleaner is easy to maneuver, reaches underneath furniture and allows for easily cleaning of stairs and places up high. If you are in the market for lightweight, versatile and powerful cleaning machine, then this is it.

  Vacuums is one area I’ve never truly given much thought to, … turn it on, roll it around the floor and suck up the dust and pet dander. Given the chance to review the new Shark Ninja vacuum I didn’t hesitate at the opportunity. My wife is hooked on the brand, with Coffee Maker, Blender, Knife set, and now this vacuum. I was able to compare it to a 2nd from top Dyson, and upper level Bissell. This vacuum assembly was most impressive of all, with simple instructions, and snap and click assembly. Simple, done, no instructions needed. While this Shark Ninja does many things right, it’s not perfect, as are any of the 3 in this comparison. For starters the front LED headlight could be brighter. The Bissell wins this category by showing my wife and I where the problem spots of having 5 pets are. The Shark Ninja is 2nd, while the surprisingly poor Dyson a dismal 3rd place in light illumination. As far as suction power I was unable to discern much of a difference between the 3 vacuums. All feel like they stick to the carpet quite tight. One thing I liked a lot about this was the steering felt like I had more manuverability. I’d give this Shark Ninja the top spot, even above the easy to turn Bissell, and far ahead of the cumbersome Dyson. Ease of emptying the cartridge is pretty much a draw between the three, easily removable cartridges are not a differentiating factor imho. One area this Shark Ninja excels is that the main canister is fully removable. On hard to reach places the Bissell is not as easy to pull away, and instead I use the suction hose attachment to get the pet fur that’s congealed in the corners. The Shark Ninja seems much easier to pull off the base and carry up the stairs, and suction around hard to get areas. The Dyson, albeit oder design, does not offer anything like this. Pros + Easy Assembly + Excellent Suction + Long cord + easy canister empty Cons -headlight could be brighter -tendency to suck over cord and not give it back -feels slightly plastic, unsure of reliability * Not much else to dislike, really enjoyed this Conclusion
While not perfect, this Shark Ninja vacuum has a lot going for it. If I were buying again, and had the following 3 choices, this, the Bissell and the Dyson, I’d probably pick the Bissell as #1, this as #2 and unfortunately the most expensive of the bunch, the Dyson as #3 (disappointed I spent 2x on it). Recommended Buy

  This Shark Cleans and Means It

  The Shark Rotator Lift-Away vacuum is a vacuum that I don’t dread to use! See, my previous upright vacuum seemed solid in its performance. It vacuumed debris from the carpets and hardwood floors. And it even had a cleaning brush that was ‘tangle free’ which meant there wasn’t any twisted string, hair, etc. to deal with. However, it felt that the tangle-free cleaning brush was a tradeoff for a well-performing machine. The Shark Rotator Lift-Away isn’t clunky or awkward. What I mean by this is that it is easy to maneuver around your home. Whether you are vacuuming carpet or hardwood flooring, the Shark Rotator glides across both types of surfaces. The suction that is produced from this Shark is pretty amazing since it pulls debris from the wall and corners whereas I always needed to release the vacuum wand to get the same corners and edges. Speaking of the vacuum wand, the Shark Lift-Away’s wand is EASY to utilize. Press a button and it’s unlatched, allowing you to quickly and easily reach those areas that the main vacuum head cannot to get those pesky dust bunnies that dwell in the darkness. There isn’t any pulling to remove the wand nor is there any hard pushing it back into place. I have carpeted stairs that my cats love to sleep on which creates the need to vacuum those stairs at least once a week. To be honest, with my previous vacuum, I would procrastinate this chore since the old vacuum was heavy, and using the attachments never really pulled up the loose hair. The Shark Rotator has an easily removable canister that allows you to clean stairs easily. Press the bottom release button and the canister releases. When you’re done, the canister simply clicks back into place. Once you hear the click, you don’t have to worry about the canister lifting out accidentally. However, I still prefer to use the beater brush on each step which isn’t an issue now because of how light the Shark vacuum is. I still don’t like vacuuming the stairs but at least it isn’t as dreadful as it used to be. As a bonus, the length of the cord is long, allowing you to vacuum other rooms/areas that stretch across a reasonable distance. Carpet and Hardwood Floors: As I previously mentioned, I have both hardwood flooring and large area rugs. Using the Shark Rotator on them is a breeze. You just press the two-option switch to whatever surface you’re cleaning. When you switch to carpet mode, you can hear the Shark kick into deep clean mode as it pulls up debris from the carpet. Nothing is left behind. Also, the LED light on the Shark illuminates those dark areas, allowing you to see the small items that you might not want to accidentally vacuum such as pet toys or random items that fell out of sight. Easy Peasy: Emptying the canister requires minimal effort. Just press the button and the bottom flap of the canister opens to empty the contents. The Shark Rotator Lift is a REALLY fantastic vacuum and I cannot think of anything negative to say about it. It performs wonderfully on both hardwood and carpeted flooring. The suction is consistent even when using the wand attachment(s). I believe you will be very happy with this purchase. As for the self-cleaning brush roll, after doing some extensive vacuuming not only at my home but at a friend’s home (her vacuum recently broke), there were no tangled hairs, string, etc. that normally accumulate during cleaning.
