Q: Is this vacuum easy to push and maneuver for an elderly person?
A: Hello. I am in my early 70s and have owned our shark ninja 105 for over five years. I love how easy it is to maneuver, carry, and empty. I definitely recommend it for any “elderly” person!
Q: Can the motorized brush be turned off ?
A: Yes, you can turn the automatic roller on and off. This is what makes it able to go from carpet to hard floor easily.
Q: can vacuum be raised for shag rugs
A: Yes, the vacuum brush can be raised for higher carpets.
A: Hello Earl, we would like to inform you that the Shark Navigator® Bagless Upright Vacuum does not have an additional hose extension available. When using this vacuum to do above floor cleaning, as well as vacuuming the stairs, we recommend holding the handle on top of the dust cup while you vacuum with the other. A: Unfortunately Best Buy does not sell replacement filters for this vacuum. Shark does state on the box that the vacuum requires no maintence. the spongy white filter is washable. If you damaged the filter you’d have to call shark and order one. Or at least they can lead you to a retail that has them. But as mentioned before, those filters aren’t meant to ever be replaced. They are reusable you can wash them in your sink. Call shark or file a warranty claim through Best Buy if the filter is damaged.

A: It’s a lot quieter than most vacuums including my Dyson. If you do. It the brush roller it is even more quiet. Strong suction as well.
