Q: What is the purpose of this flush mount kit if I already own the 30 drawer microwave
A: It protects the cabinet the unit is installed in from the steam which is produced during normal use. Should have been included and not an add on in my opinion.

A: Hello, the flush mount deflector vent is a thin sheet of metal that is placed at the front when installation is done and held in by two screws.
Q: Do I need this to mount 30" skmd30foas ?
A: Hello, the flush mount deflector vent is an optional accessory that is used to direct air/steam and prevent damage to the cabinets. It is only used when or if the microwave is being installed flushed.
Q: Will this mounting bar work for a model R 1874T micro
A: Hello Dave, the flush mount kit is not compatible with the R1874T. The model is supplied with it's own installation equipment.
A: I did not snap the outer frame into the inner frame as I saw that there was a gap between the top of the oven and the inner top edge of the outer frame. Once snapped in, I found it was quite difficult to snap back in if I do not exert a lot of force. I measured the inner height and found it larger than the height of the oven. Hence it will not flush in nicely.
