I bought the Shokz OpenDots ONE mainly because I wanted something comfortable that doesn’t block my ears, and they exceeded my expectations. The clip-on open-ear design is very lightweight and secure. After a few minutes you almost forget you’re wearing them. What I like most is that I can listen to music or podcasts while still hearing what’s going on around me. That makes them perfect for the gym, walking outside, or even working when people are talking to you. The sound quality is very clear for open-ear earbuds. Vocals are crisp and the audio is balanced. The Bluetooth connection has been very stable and pairing with my phone was quick and easy. The charging case is compact and feels well built, and the battery life has been more than enough for daily use. Overall, if you’re looking for comfortable open-ear wireless earbuds that let you stay aware of your surroundings, these are a great option. I’m very happy with them and would definitely recommend them.

Picked up the Shokz OpenDots One for my running and gym sessions, and I’m really happy with them. Sound quality is surprisingly good for open-ear buds - the bass is solid and vocals come through crisp. Battery life gets me through multiple workouts easily, and the quick charge feature is clutch when I forget to charge them overnight. The water resistance handles sweat with no issues. Only downside is they’re not as loud as traditional in-ear buds in noisy environments, but that’s the trade-off for the situational awareness I wanted. I’ve had these Shokz OpenDots for about a week now, and I bought them with my own hard-earned cash. No freebie, no influencer deal, just a guy trying to keep his ears happy. My wife’s been raving about Shokz for years, but I stayed loyal to my AirPods Pros… until I stumbled across the Shokz kiosk at Best Buy and tried on every single style like a kid in a candy store. The OpenDots won me over, not because they’re flashy (they’re not), but because they just work—especially with glasses. They look a little different at first, but wear them once and you stop caring and so does everyone else. The sound is shockingly immersive. I wasn’t expecting that from something that doesn’t even go inside your ear. I turned on the Deep Bass setting in the app, and wow—these things absolutely punch. Podcasts, music, calls—they all sound crisp, clear, and far better than “open-ear” should allow. They’ve held steady on my ears through ruck hikes, a 4-mile run with sprints, and even cycling. ZERO slipping. No adjusting. My mind has been blown. And here’s a bonus I didn’t expect: While waiting at the barber shop with my son, I handed him one bud and kept the other for myself so he could hear a video I wanted him to see. It hit me—this is way more sanitary to share than traditional earbuds. Since they rest on the ear instead of in it, there’s no earwax handoff. Major win. A few standout wins: - Seamless switching between iPhone and Mac—just make sure to toggle that feature on in the app. - Battery life is no joke. After three hours, I still had 70% left. - Universal earbuds: you can stick either bud in either ear and they’ll still charge in any slot. Whoever designed that deserves a raise. Now, the nitpicks: - No volume control on the buds. I have an Apple Watch that can control the volume, so it’s not a dealbreaker, but I do miss being able to slide up or down like I can on my AirPods Pros. - After 2 hours, I start to feel a little ear fatigue. Not painful, just noticeable. It’s probably going to take my body some time to get used to this design so I can leave them in longer. - No “Find My” feature. If I lose the case, I’m on my own. Might need to slap an AirTag on it like I do when I take my kids to Disney haha. Bottom line: These are different-looking earbuds that sound amazing, feel great, and somehow manage to work better than any other Shokz designs if you wear glasses. Whether you’re logging serious workouts or catching up on podcasts around the house, these let you stay connected to your audio and your surroundings—so you won’t miss a beat (or a “Dad, come here!” from the other room). If you're on the fence, I was too. But now I get the hype.

This is the second pair of these that I've purchased. As a truck driver having a comfortable open-ear headphone with good sound quality is what gets me through the long days on the road. I've used various headphones from Shokz, and these are the lightest and most comfortable pair yet. I will admit it took a few hours to get used to how they sit on the side of the ear, but now I barely notice they're there. I really like the customization of the controls in the app, and personally I prefer to disable the 2 finger pinch controls so I can easily adjust them if needed without disrupting my music or accidentally hanging up when on the phone. The sound quality is also superb. They obviously won't compete with a high-end set of noise-cancelling headphones, but the range of clear highs to rumbling lows is the best from the brand by far.

Excellent sound quality. Very comfortable to wear for long hours. It's very convinient to wear at work and also be aware of surroundings. Love the battery life and quick charge. Seamless connectivity to Android phone. It also connects instantly. You could buy these and save $50-$100 on the similar Bose model.

These Shokz - OpenDots are really amazing. I have been very impressed with the sound quality for phone calls and music. I first tested a similar Bose product; the music sounded wonderful, but the calls weren't so good. The problems with calls were always on the other end, so not sure if Bose needs to work on the mic side of calls or what. However, I have no such issue with these. I also love the small case; it fits in my front pocket and is not bulky. I talk on the phone for 4-8 hours a day. The battery life is excellent, and they are also very comfortable. I love the open-ear design, as it lets me hear what is going on around me. I highly recommend them.

I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing a non-Apple product due to the poor connectivity I’ve experienced in the past. I decided to give it one last try due to how comfortable these Shokz- OpenDots One- open ear headphones were during the in-store demo. I have not been disappointed, the sound is clear for music and phone calls! The only thing is when I get into my car instead of my music playing on my stereo it will automatically switch to my ear buds after a few minutes and that a minor annoyance considering the price and over all quality!

Great sound quality, battery life and comfortability. Also, stay on better than the AirPods.

Shokz OpenDots ONE are way better than the Bose Ultra Open-Ear for me! I sent the Bose back and kept these… These will not replace in-ears, IEM’s, or any of that nature - these were meant for a different audience, I used to use the AirPods 4 ANC, Pixel Buds Pro 2, AirPods Pro 2 (Type-C) as my “chill buds” but I am starting to pick these up as my dailies more and more. I run 3 times a week and have NOT had any issues with them falling out or having to readjust them. Give em’ a try -Sound Quality 10/10 -Comfort 10/10 -Price 9/10 -Build Quality 10/10

I really like this bluetooth open ear buds, I am using this for my office Teams calls and my phone calls at the same time no need to disconnect and re connect it connects smoothly. I really like that feature. Sound quality is great and I can wear it all day.

I have tried a lot of different ear buds, looking for comfort, and UlI can say I finally found them in these shocks one. I clean and go up and down stairs and travel a lot for work, they have not fallen off if my ears once. Sound is ok and it's great to hear if one of my kids are talking to me.

Amazing product I can’t use in ear headphones cause they fall out no matter the ear tip or material so ear-hook style or this clip-on are the way to go for me…amazing! Great battery, nice balanced sound high’s, mid’s and low’s, treble, vocal’s and bass are great.

I have always had problems with headphone and earbud due to sensitivity issues and smaller ears. These are very comfortable, light weight, and stay on perfectly. The app that you can use with allows for alterations to the sound to fit your preference.

This ear buds is very comfortable to wear. The sounds is really clear and I love it. I went to the gym or going for jogging and the ear buds stayed in my ears. I also love the color gold. Thank you!

I love these for working in an office because I don’t want to completely shut out the outside world, and these are just so comfortable. I’ve given up trying to find normal earbuds that don’t hurt after wearing them for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Or even one ear at a time so it’s more like 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. These are great for me because they only contact less sensitive parts of the ear and are super light. My only complaints are that the wear detection doesn’t seem to be super reliable, maybe that’s just my unit. And I really wish these had Bluetooth LE audio. LE audio is great for voice calls because of the lower latency and higher quality when in call mode, and I always feel weird talking into a closed back headphone setup. It just feels so much more natural when you can hear yourself (and not via fake digital “transparency”). As for sound quality, these don’t sound quite as good as the Shokz openfit, but I think they are slightly more comfortable. Not to mention the case is more pocketable. Attached is a picture showing how I wear mine. My issues with fit on most ear buds are how they rest in the gap between the tragus and the anti tragus (yes I had to look these up lol), particularly when they put pressure on the anti tragus. As these don’t contact that area at all, they’re perfect for me and I highly recommend them if you have similar issues/preferences.

SO as it’s getting warmer where I live at and using my AirPods Max is not that comfortable so when I saw the email that Shokz was releasing something new I kept my eyes open. I was super excited to see it was a pair of open air ear buds. I’ve been eyeing Bose version since last year but the price tag kept me from buying which I’m glad I didn’t. My primary concern was if I’d be able to use them with my hearing aids on (I use around the ear hearing aids). Instantly they felt great so I decided to put them on for 5 hours to make sure… 5 hours later I decided I’ll be keeping them! A lot of great features. Find My surprised me and having tap features is a must for me since the first AirPods came out years ago. Turning Dolby Digital on makes a big difference and EQ customization is awesome (I used Flossy Carter’s setting, check him out his YouTube channel for dope tech reviews including Open Dot buds). Multi pairing so far is smooth. Another plus but wouldn’t have been a deal breaker is wireless charging. Charges perfect on my MagSafe charger. They are also interchangeable so you can use either bud on any ear. If I had to find something I don’t like is not having more control on how much you can customize but I’m ok with the options that are available and drop the price $25. So if you’re like me and have hearing/ear issues THESE ARE MOST DEFINITELY FOR YOU!!! Or if you want the ultimate transparency experience because awareness is your concern then these are for you as well. Overall I’m very happy with them and even happier I found ear buds to switch it up when I don’t want to use my over the ear headphones.

Shokz ear pods really surprised me. From a comfortable fit, battery time, and clarity. I am very pleased with this purchase.

So I originally purchased these to compair to the soundcore aeroclips i already purchase and wanted to see if the things people said about them would be right. I have to admit that since I’ve owned this pair, i love them. The design is great, the controls for me are great, and the battery is top teir. I really wanted the blue pair but unfortunately that pair wasn’t available when i purchased these. The app for them is laid out very simple and user friendly. Even though i love the aeroclips too but just the extra features of the opendots gave a bit of an edge for me to keep them.
