The Tamron 28-200mm F/2.8-5.6 (Model AFA071S-700) is the world’s first all-in-one zoom to achieve a maximum aperture of F2.8 at the 28mm wide-angle end. Despite covering a wide range of focal lengths, the lens is lightweight and compact, making it convenient to bring along for all your picture taking needs. When combined with a compact, lightweight full-frame/APS-C mirrorless camera, it allows photographers to capture virtually every scene they encounter in daily use, travel, sports and nature. Good lens
• Sharpness is strong in the center for many focal lengths; ePhotozine’s review says it’s “crisp … even at full zoom.”  • Chromatic Aberration (CA) is well controlled, according to testing.  • Distortion is fairly well managed: minimal barrel distortion at wide, pincushion at some mid-lengths.  • Good resistance to flare / ghosting.
