SimpliSafe Security Camera Battery
Simplisafe came with 2 outside security cameras. We bought one extra battery so we wouldn’t have any downtime while having to charge batteries. Right now we are having issues keeping any of the batteries charged. They are rated to last 3-6 months. Right now we are only lasting 3-4 days. Trying to work with customer service to resolve the problem.

SimpliSafe Camera Battery
Battery purchased because the battery that came with the camera was old and would not charge. We purchased what was supposedly a battery that would work with SimpliSafe. It did not charge while in the camera. The SimpliSafe battery was put in the camera and all is well again. Still considering running electrical to charge and maintain the cameras. Solar panels detract from the house visual appeal.

Simple to have functional outdoor cameras.
The battery is easily removed, recharged and replaced in the outdoor cameras. By buying one additional battery, given it's ability to hold a charge for months, there was no need to hard wire the camera or to purchase the options of an electric cord (to an outlet) or a solar panel. SimpliSafe has made it possible to monitor the status of the charge.
