Q: Do these antennas cease working after 2 years. all of a sudden, I got a message that my antenna was either disconnected, or damaged. After 2 1/2 hours on the phone w Serius techs the problem was never resolved. 'Was told, "the radio is 2 years old!"

A: I've had my Sirius radio since it began over 20 years ago. My antenna was only a problem when the wire was accidentally cut. Should definitely last more than 2 years. Should last indefinitely.
