best match I could get to hardwire a rexing V3+ dash cam.. The local best buy installer recommended and it took further trips out of the city each time for installations .. still no parking monitor far as I can tell.. I'd like to use Tech support to install a digital rearview Mirror too, & make use of the plan but this leaves me concerned if I can trust the team responsible..

Works with my dash-camera vantop , measure to get different fuse size if you have mini fuse most Toyotas and fords it won’t fit I bought different fuse size but same amps not big deal for me it works as it should good quality I had Amazon wire kit didn’t last long .

I did my research on dash cams, and the general consensus was that hard wiring them vs using the battery OR the power cable was the best way to go because it allows the dash cam to automatically power on if you use a dash cam that has the auto turn-on mode for tings that happen while your car is parked, automatically turns the dash cam on and/off when you turn the car on and off, save you from having to have excess wires exposed, and saves you from having to constantly plug/unplug it. This hard wire kit is specific to the Rexing V1 dash cam w/ rear camera I purchased, and it's priced comparably to other companies' hard wire kits. It gets the job done for a pretty low price. I have purchased 2 of these. They are very inexpensive for what they do. Easy to install and hide all the wires from sight. I'm keeping 1 in the box for when the camera or power supply give out. I had to cut the fuse off the end and add my own. Car manufactures are starting to put the fuses below the surface so the fuse end it comes with will no longer fit. This is an issue with the cars fuse box. At some point Rexing will catch up and rework this issue. Not a big deal really, just cut it off and add your own.

I had the Best Buy geek squad car install tech use this hardwire kit instead of stringing a power cord from the top of my windshield across my dashboard down to the power outlet which I think looks really sloppy. Once installed, you can’t even see it. It plugs right into your fuse box and is activated when you turn your car on with your key. And it shuts off automatically when you shut off your engine. I had the dash cam and the hardwire installed for free because I’m a member of the total tech support plan. TTS Plan is a great value! Plus by using the hardware kit in your car, you still have the option of using the standard accessory plug in power cord with your dash cam if you choose to take the dash cam and use it in another vehicle for a while. You just unplug the dash cam from a hardwire and then Use the standard wire power plug for the dash cam in another vehicle if you want.

Works as described. This came with a parking sensor which was unexpected (bonus!)

Great product for my dash cam when I had it installed.

My car (Honda CRV 2002) has only one power oulet. If I run dashcam via cigarette lighter, then I cannot use my GPS. I use the hard wire kit instead. After connect the kit into my fuse box, any time I start the car, the dashcam is on, so I can free the cigarette ligher for my GPS.

Says it works with 2017 Ford F250 Super Duty Diesel but the fuse does not fit in the panel. I had to shave down the fuse in order for it to fit correctly and do a little giggling...I have had it in for over a year and it has not come loose.

I bought 3 rexing dashcam for my family and I need this kit to wire to fuse box, so I can hide the wire. It work perfect and easy to install. My car is honda, so I dont need a new fuse, but if your car is toyota or something else, you may need to modify the wire with another fuse to fit your fuse box.

Great hard wire kit. I have a Rexing V1 hard wired in two vehicles now. The kit comes with everything you need, including a nice little tool for tucking wires under interior molding. Easy plug in to any available fuse location.

Since I didn't do the installation myself I can only tell you what the installation team told me. They said it makes installation easy. Clean insulation so no wires running across your dash. Hard wire is the way to go.

bought this to get rid of the wires on my dash. had to drill a hole through the fire wall that was the harsest thing to do after that every thing went very easy all wires are hiden camra works great.

you need this if you are installing a dash cam on a newer car model that doesnt have a cigarette lighter. does the job, plain + simple

A needed accessory for the dashcam I bought that uses this accessory. Allows for a nice wired in installation.

We decided we didn't like the camera, so returned this unopened. Looked like it would be very easy to install.

I didn't like the power cable that came with the dash cam that plugged into the accessory outlet. This is totally concealed.
