Create a soundscape with this Sonance Sonarray outdoor speaker system. The subwoofer, eight speakers and powerful SR 2-125 amplifier work together to provide high-quality sound from areas of 2,500 sq. ft to 5,000 sq. ft. This Sonance Sonarray outdoor speaker system is designed to hide within the landscape for discreet yet powerful sound.
A: Hi Viv - Both of the Sonarray and Garden series outdoor systems are based on an 8.1 speaker to subwoofer ratio, so 8 satellite speakers & 1 in-ground subwoofer. They both are specified with our Digital Signal Processing (DSP) amplifier, model SR 2-125. Both systems can be expanded to become a 16.2 system with a single SR 2-125 amplifier. The Garden series has a slightly different satellite (two-way with 3/4" dome tweeter), with additional mounting options, and the overall system plays louder. An 8.1 Sonarray is great for covering about 2,500 square feet, while a 8.1 Garden series is 3,500 square feet. Sonarray is $2,999.98 and Garden series is $3,999.98. I hope that helps answer your questions.
A: @audiopro, Yes the new Sonos Amp will work with a Sonarray system. As you mentioned, you will not have the custom EQ presets that are built in our amplifier specifically for the Sonarray but the new Sonos amp is a great product as well and will work.
A: Hi, Yes this will integrate however it requires you to purchase a Sonos Connect to plug into the Sonance 2-125 amplifier. If you add the Sonos connect, you will then be able to listen to the same music or different music throughout all the Sonos zones of your house.
A: You would use your smartphone and the Sonos app. Have not looked to see if there is a hardware device to also do it as my phone is always handy.
