Q: Will this lense be good for indoor volleyball?
A: Hi Co_Dad, Yes. This lens will be able to zoom on your subject very well which is good for sports. Since the amount of light will be limited on indoor sports, to avoid blurry picture you just need to set the ISO to a higher value to compensate with a faster shutter speed. -Anthony
Q: Hi What is this lens good for? ( Sony 55-210)
A: I personally use it for distance sports shots for basketball and baseball. Switch back to 16-50 for casual everyday photos that don't require the zoom.
Q: I received a Sony Mirrorless a-6000, will this lens work?
A: Hi Alicia! Yes. This lens is fully compatible with the Sony a6000 camera. -Anthony
Q: Is this Lens compatible with the Sony A7 Full Frame? Or will it only shoot in Crop sensor mode?
A: Hi Danny, The angle of view will be narrower down to that of APS-C size. -Anthony
Q: Will this lens work on a sony cyber shot exmor R?
A: I don't think it will work for normal digital camera as your cyber shot. This is for sony mirroless camera. I don't think you can buy any lens for your cyber shot.
Q: DOES THIS FIT SONY NEX 3??? I REALLY WANT TO BUY THIS LENS.....
A: All E lens fit the NEX-3
Q: Is this lens auto-focus or manual?
A: I’m certainly not an expert photographer, so my answer is in layman’s terms. I use this lens often for capturing my child at gymnastic meets, where I can’t get physically close to the action. My answer to your question is both. This lens itself does not have manual/auto focus switch, like some others do. The amount of zoom is manual as you frame your shot. The lens then works with the (Sony) camera’s auto-focus capability when the shot button is pressed halfway down.
Q: Is this lens a full frame lense or does it have a crop ratio?
A: Hi Scribz23, This model is not a full frame lens. It is designed for Sony mirrorless cameras with APS-C sized sensors. When connected to a full frame camera, the angle of view will be narrowed down to that of APS-C size. ~Ralph

Greater starter lens, I’ve shot over 100k sports photos with this lens and it’s still going. Not great in low light but I feel its value is worth the boat for a relatively “cheaper” lens.

My Sony SteadyShot lens is a game changer pics come out sharp and clear, and the stabilization keeps everything smooth even when I’m shooting handheld. Super reliable and makes low-light shots way easier. Definitely one of my go-to lenses.

The Sony E 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 OSS is one of a familiar breed of lenses: an entry-level telephoto zoom lens designed to be paired with the standard 18-55mm kit zoom. On the plus side, this lens has enough reach for sports and wildlife photography, and includes helpful optical image stabilization (that's the OSS) that can help prevent blur from hand-shake at longer focal lengths.
