Q: Netflix app is crashing back ro Home Screen. No problem with the internet. Any fix for this? JK
A: Hi. I ffollowed the recommendation pertaining to the Chromecast in my X80Jn but went further and disabled it (instead of clearing data/cache). It's been working for a day now without any issues. Hope this helps.
Q: Is this TV have good picture quality in a bright room?
A: SONY XR65A90J OLED 4K HDR TV is a fantastic TV. I live in the Rock Mountains of Colorado and have a huge plate glass window in my living room. When the TV is off, there are reflections on the screen as one would expect. Once you turn it on, however, you get a brilliant display without any reflections at all. Again just a fantastic TV that I highly recommend.
A: 100% YES, I ordered my Sonos ARC from BestBuy specifically for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos at their Finest. Together the Best of The Best.
Q: Is the TV tuner in this set ATSC 1 or ATSC 3?
A: Hi T18C97, Thank you for the inquiry. Yes, the 65" and 55" XR A90J series supports ATSC/ATSC 3.0(NEXTGEN TV). Refer to the link below for full specifications and features of this XR A90J series: https://www.sony.com/electronics/televisions/a90j-series/specifications I hope this helps! Jay
A: I often watch youtube and youtube tv, and older netflix movies, much of which is 720p, some better, some worse with regard to definition, and I'm very happy with the 65" A90J, it's much better than I expected and is actually great. I had an old 1080p panasonic plasma and it did a pretty good job of handling the lower resolution content, and the Sony A90J hands down is even much better. This was one of my major concerns as well and I have no regrets. I would question lower resolution content on a TV bigger than 65". I also had one of the BestBuy reps pull up youtube in the store, but their wireless bandwidth wasn't great so it was hard to test. I had 40mg down and it was good, but I did upgrade to 80mg down to make sure the content was maximized to their best resolution. In short, with a 65" or smaller you will have no regrets, but I can't answer the question on the larger sets.
Q: How long is the Sony standard manufacturers warranty on this A90J ?
A: Hi Warranty, The A90J limited manufacturer's warranty is one year for the US and Canada only. Sony product warranty information, including what is covered by the warranty, is part of the documentation inside the box for each Sony product. The warranty may be on a separate card or as part of the Primary User Manual (usually the User's Guide or Operating Instructions). Thank you for the inquiry. Jay
A: Myself as an owner I have yet to have this experience.**Please note: As with every single high-end electronic's device, I have ever owned**Software updates have always improved product performance within weeks or a couple of months. Sony is great with firmware updates and I am a true believer as I have had many Sony products over the years and they have never failed to rise to the occasion every single time. In life, there are always malcontent's and they are simply part of life. I love everything about my new Sony, now I am waiting on my Sonos Arc to complete my in-home theatre setup.
A: This is a “panel lottery”- varies from panel to panel, honestly. Most have shown to be pretty clean. And it tends to dissipate some over time. Be more concerned about excessive “pink tint”
