A: I was wondering the same thing. Cnet.com has specs on both of these models. The only difference I can find is that the ae014dx has a privacy filter in the screen. -Jenn
Q: Does it have a sleeve included?
A: Yes, it comes with a very nice leather sleeve that fits it like a glove. A very nice and welcomed addition.
A: A question many are asking and as some have already said . . . the only apparent difference is the presence of a privacy screen function with the 14dx model. If that isn't a must have feature for you and you can get the other model at a significant price savings, that is the way I would go.
A: It has around 10 hours of mixed used battery life.
Q: Would you recommend this laptop if video editing is a top priority? What programs are compatible?
A: I did not buy this laptop for video editing. I'm using mine for business. Financial accounting and the office 365. It has a lot of power so it could very well suit your needs. I just don't use it for that. Mostly QuickBooks Pro, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook. One of the reasons I chose this laptop is because of the solid state hard drive and the Intel i7. My provious laptop hard drives failed way too soon. Since I'm carting it from one client to another the Best Buy tech thought the solid state hard drive would be much more durable.
A: ...14DX has a privacy screen
Q: Does it come with the stylus?
A: Yes, it comes with a stylus.
Q: Does this computer have an HDMI port
A: You would use the Thunderbolt 3 USB C ports for running an external display. There are USB C to HDMI adapters which would work excellently.
