I did not buy this laptop for video editing. I'm using mine for business. Financial accounting and the office 365. It has a lot of power so it could very well suit your needs. I just don't use it for that. Mostly QuickBooks Pro, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook. One of the reasons I chose this laptop is because of the solid state hard drive and the Intel i7. My provious laptop hard drives failed way too soon. Since I'm carting it from one client to another the Best Buy tech thought the solid state hard drive would be much more durable.
