About this product

Using an endothermic reaction to cool the air in your home, this SPT SF-608R evaporative air cooler makes it easy to maintain a comfortable indoor temperature. Three speeds enable airflow customization, and oscillating louvers ensure optimal circulation. Note: This unit is not an air conditioner and does not have a compressor or condenser inside. Evaporative coolers are designed for spot cooling and will not lower a room's ambient temperature. This unit is best used in dry climates or open spaces. Keep a window or door open to limit the rise of humidity and for better ventilation. Add ice to the tank and set the unit near you for optimal results.

    Fan didn't work.

    When I first turned on this item, it worked for a short while and then the fan stopped working. I had to return it for a refund.

    Cools you down

    Definitely keeps the room cool, just make sure a window is cracked open for good air flow

    Great for small rooms

    This Air cooler does exactly what it suppose too. Adding a mixture of cold water & Ice is how it works best. I always use the cool option & on high fan speed. This cooler works best if you actually have it directly facing you. I use it in my bedroom..close the door & keep the window open. It also helps if you have a fan facing you on the opposite of the room...the fan helps circulate the cool air.

    should've listened to the reviews

    For starters its pricey, i could've just saved up a little more and bought an AC,but i was impatient. Also it doesn't cool all that good, seriously i was pretty upset. it also got moldy in the water tank for some reason. i had to put ice in it to feel a little bit cooler. My room isnt all that big either so i thought it would've cooled better but nope. If you want to cool off you gave to be face-to-face with it that the only reason im giving it 2 stars

    Was a bad buy

    Did not blow out cold out, and it's started leaking getting my whole floor soaked along with the cord and the outlet...
