Foil shielding wraps all four twisted pairs, so the run stays clean beside power cabling, inside metal racks and near motors or ballasts where unshielded cords pick up noise. Each RJ45 plug carries 50-micron gold-plated contacts wired to T568B, and a snagless molded boot shields the locking tab so it does not snap when the cable is pulled back out of a packed patch panel.
