Wellfleet utilizes a highly polished nude elliptical stylus, eliminating the bonding between the stylus tip and shank. With the new assembly, excessive mass in the shank is cut away to further reduce tip mass, resulting in a faster, more direct, and more accurate response of the stylus’ movement by the cantilever and magnet. Sonically, this increases speed and focuses central images, pulling them toward the listener with a heightened sense for detail.

Borrowing the smooth character of its sibling Oyster, Black Pearl implements an improved housing that allows for wider frequency response. This makes way for more nuance and greater stereo imaging in a more cohesive soundstage. Enjoyable for hours on end, Black Pearl is famously high in value, pairs perfectly with any MM phonostage and is physically compatible with a wide array of tonearms.

The AT-VM760xSL elevates vinyl listening with a refined dual moving magnet design that delivers greater warmth, detail, and realism across the entire frequency range. Precisely aligned magnets mirror the cutting head geometry for exceptional channel separation, balance, and a stable stereo image. An ultra-light special line contact stylus traces grooves with remarkable accuracy and minimal wear, while a solid boron cantilever transmits musical energy faster for cleaner transients and lifelike dynamics. Paratoroidal coils and a center shield plate reduce crosstalk for pristine clarity, and the rigid metal body minimizes resonance. Threaded inserts and a V-cut stylus guard make installation simple, creating a premium cartridge that blends precision engineering with everyday usability.
