    Prime Pinnacles are EPIC!

    WE opted for the Prime Pinnacles over the Ultra only because we already have a pair of SVS SB2000 Pro's. These did not disappoint, They are absolutely amazing in 2 channel stereo mode and blew me away. Didn't really even need the subs these hit soo hard.

    More than enough sound

    I love these prime pinnacle towers! Paired with ultra center and satellites for surround the sound is great! These speakers have a full sound and are able to fit in the space I needed. They are heavy, but that's because they are made well! SVS has a great product.

    Superb!

    Replaced my Definitive Technology soundbar and wireless subwoofer with a pair of these powered with a new Denon AVS650 receiver. I have about 25 hours of break in so far and these speakers are superb for the price. I find no need to add a subwoofer to my system. I never really cared for 5.1 or 7.1 home theatre sound. It distracts me. With just these 2 speakers I get excellent stereo sound for both movies and music. The room is filled with sound and you think their is actually a center speaker the way they send out sound. When watching TV or a movie the clarity of the voices is fantastic and music where they really shine. Classic rock, jazz, bluegrass and country all sound great. I was originally going to get the Klipsch Reference Premier speakers but they were out of stock so I took a chance on these. Great decision. Money well spent!

    A GREAT FIND

    For years I’ve been looking for speakers so I can listen to my music in my living room. I did a lot of research and came across the SVS Prime 6-1/2 Passive 3-way floor speakers. I hooked them up and they sound great, they are not bulky and fit in my space perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase.

  • Will these speakers work with a Pioneer receiver?

    This is from audioholics.com "Any amplifiers should be able to run these speakers without a problem, but I wouldn’t run the Prime Pinnacles on entry-level AVRs. SVS claims that the Prime Pinnacles are 88dB sensitive for 1 meter at 2.83v from 300Hz to 3kHz, but I measured a 90.2dB sensitivity for that same range for 2.83v at 1 meter" These are really a 6ohm load even though they avg it out to 8 ohms which is suggesting its easier to run then it might be for your "800-1500" watt rated home theater receivers seem to rate them at even though they only pull 500 watts from the wall before they clip/distort the sound (check the back of the receiver for the power draw to know the real number). These want a good clean 150-300 watts RMS for a large room as bass frequencies are the part that uses lots of power if you don't plan to run a powered sub-woofer. So basically if the receiver doesn't have the power,then the bass will start to fall behind the mids and highs, but this is the case with any passive tower speaker.

  • Hi will My Adcom GFA555 power amp (250watts) and my Coda Continuum (Time Window) Preamp power these a full volume without clipping? (there are No tone controls on my Preamp) Or would I be better off with the SVS Prime Towers?

    Stay the course .I`ve had Adcom Power amps . If memory serves Me, Adcom amps. are high current should not have a problem.
