This camera will connect to a compatible Swann recorder that will connect to a monitor/display using a VGA or HDMI cable. If your unit is connected to the internet, it can be remotely accessed and controlled using the Swann Security application. Please let us know how we may further assist you, Thank you. A: Hi Kristin. Yes, your DVR model is capable of supporting cameras up to 5 Megapixel resolution but this 1080p camera will also work with it. If your existing cable still works you can just leave it in place and just replace the camera on the end, that should save you needing to put a new cable in. Hope that helps. -SD, Swann team.
