Hi Kristin. Yes, your DVR model is capable of supporting cameras up to 5 Megapixel resolution but this 1080p camera will also work with it. If your existing cable still works you can just leave it in place and just replace the camera on the end, that should save you needing to put a new cable in. Hope that helps. -SD, Swann team.
