Q: I just wanted to see if this lens would work with a Canon Rebel T5..

A: I have the Canon Rebel 3ti and the lens works perfectly. I had such fun shooting eagles with this lens. I got some awesome photos of eagles flying high above me and many sitting in trees. The lens is very heavy tho.

Q: Will this lens fit canon 80D ?

A: Yes. I normally shoot this lens on a 7D body, but just to be sure I put it on my 80D body and took some shots. Works fine. Included is an image taken yesterday with my 7D body and this lens. This is at 600mm, hand-held. The focus is a touch off, but all my better images exceed the 5Mb upload limit. It is a good lens and I do not regret the purchase. Hope this is helpful.

Q: Will this lens work on a Canon Rebel T2?

A: I use this lens on my Canon EOS T2i. Works perfectly.

Q: I'm looking for a lens to shot youth sports like football and wrestling. Will this be fast enough?

A: I purchased this lens in November 2016 for shooting women's college lacrosse. Lens is definitely fast enough and takes great pictures but, I am finding that I really didn't need the range as much as I thought I would it's almost too long and lens is heavy. Really need a lower aperture and am now looking for a 70-200 or 300 with 2.8.

Q: Is this the G2 model?

A: No, this is not the G2 model.
