The Burial - Subtemple / Beachfires - VINYL LP

Argued by diehards as the most under-appreciated full-length by The Aggrolites, the Pirates would just make the case for it simply being the least-heard. So far... Following their exit from Hellcat, this album certainly didn't get the mainstream press attention that the three previous albums did, or the outright accolades of their debut album 'Dirty Reggae'; but for many true fans, this is the gem in the collection. It reflected the independent roots that remained planted in this band - the heart and soul if you will, and the reason people care so deeply for them, and their music. For years this record has been virtually impossible to find, and that unfortunate reality created the impetus for working to make THIS version a reality. With great pride, the Pirates present to you this remastered, stellar LP version of InchRugged RoadInch. • Originally only available on 7Inch in the USA • 7Inch Versions and limited European LP version out of print since 2011

Vinyl LP pressing. 2017 . In late 2014, Planning for Burial's Thom Wasluck left the red house in New Jersey he'd called home for the last decade to return to his childhood bedroom in the mountains of Pennsylvania. Back in the house where he grew up, Wasluck found himself cut off from the familiarities of the previous decade as he put himself to work in the family trade. The monotony of routine quickly set in; work, home, and alcohol day after day became the norm. The childhood room that had given birth to his primordial four-track recordings was now a place of emptiness. These conditions set the stage for Planning for Burial's third full-length, Below the House. In terms of genre, Planning for Burial is often simply characterized as Inchgloom,Inch which can be seen as a blend of slowcore, shoegaze, doom, 90s alt rock and drone, and this album offers nine sullen and frequently heavy songs that brim with nostalgia and suburban ennui. It is a return to form of sorts to his beloved first album, 2010's Leaving - an introverted work characterized by it's heavy dynamics and personal obsessions. Since the beginning, Planning for Burial has been a solo endeavor. Wasluck has been recording music himself and touring extensively as a one-man band, playing hundreds of shows in DIY spaces and nightclubs, where he has shared the stage with acts like Deafheaven, King Woman and Chelsea Wolfe. Both incredibly loud and intimate, Planning for Burial plays with an unrivaled passion and funereal grace that is equally at home in basements and large venues.

Vinyl LP pressing. Doomy Chicago three-piece Snow Burial deliver their second full length album, Ostrava on Prosthetic Records. Recorded in early 2019 at Electrical Audio, Chicago with Shane Hochstetler at the helm, Ostrava maps where life's beauty and terror collide. Born from their defining experiences at home and on the road the unifying theme of Ostrava is one of duality - failure and triumph, celebration and mourning, isolation and family. Taking inspiration from the likes of Radiohead as much as any metal act; Snow Burial craft polished songs with the whirring machinery hidden just below the surface. Their blend of melody and aggression delivers a sound that dredges the depths of doom and sludge and marries it with rock 'n' roll sensibilities.
