With detailed environments to explore, an interesting story to delve into, and an innovative gameplay system revolving around time to experience, The Occupation offers quite a few very worthwhile things to the gamer. Sadly, as good as it can be, the game was released in an unpolished state, leaving the player dealing with issues that shouldn't be there. That said, a patch was just released last night that supposedly fixes these issues -- or at least some of them. I haven't had a chance to check the game out since the patch released, however, so I can not say what is fixed & what isn't. It's a shame, though, that games even needed patches & can't be in a more stable state upon their release. I'm still giving this 3 stars since there's an amazing experience here, but it's a shame it was plagued with so many issues at launch.

This game is atmospheric and tense due to the limited time you have to investigate. The story is interesting which keeps you moving forward. It does have a few bugs though.

This game came out earlier this year and i've had it since then, but the game is a technical mess. I hear they are working on patches, but they have been doing so for a while now and you can still lose an hour+ of progress if it acts up. I really enjoy the story and gameplay mix, but the technical stuff is holding this back.
