About this product
Purity still exists in modern-day music. There's the purity of real instruments - violin, acoustic guitar, upright bass, percussion, and even cello - coupled with homespun harmonies that magically float into the ether. Then, you have the purity of songs written from the soul that fill a human void. None of that ever goes out of style.Folk-Americana trio The Wildwoods, hailing from Lincoln, Nebraska, continue to bring sonic beauty and simplicity to today's increasingly complicated and cluttered musical landscape. With Dear Meadowlark, the band's fourth full-length album, The Wildwoods have once again taken the hallmarks of the folk-Americana sound and dressed it in indie sensibilities a la heroes Nickel Creek and Gillian Welch as well as genre mainstays Bon Iver and Mumford & Sons Album Tracks 1. Meadowlark 2. Sweet Niobrara 3. Poster Child 4. Hideaway 5. I Will Follow You to Willow 6. Dear Stranger 7. Under the Rug 8. I'm in Sandusky 9. Footprints on the Floor 10. Rabbit Hill 11. Postcards from Somewhere (Bonus Track)

Some band names take on a talismanic quality, revealing mystical depths the musicians may never have intended. For Gardens & Villa, the name became downright prophetic. The quartet of Chris Lynch, Adam Rasmussen, Shane McKillop, and Dustin Ineman, took their moniker from Villa Avenue, where they first shared a home - and a garden - in Santa Barbara, California. Now, a decade and a half later, the band is set to their fifth album, Ultra Terrestrial, on September 13 2024. The record finds Gardens & Villa returning to the roots of their namesake, highlighting the expansive growth they've weathered, and the familial bonds they've forged over their 15 years together. Album Tracks 1. Back to the Garden 2. Angel Alien 3. Body 4. Jewels 5. Chi Chu 6. Funnels 7. Pollen 8. Star Feeder 9. Movies
