About this product
2018 . Bubbling up from the oozing sewers of Toronto like a bizarre insectoid of mutant genotype, Tomb Mold reanimates with their second album, and first for 20 Buck Spin, Manor Of Infinite Forms. Constructing monumental towers of obscure shape, jarring yet coherent, this band's compositions evoke a distorted world alongside this one, where all manner of oddity and peculiarity are permitted. Songs on this album move in strange ways, recklessly contorting into cohesion until suddenly they're proceeding with a force and purpose in perfect synchronicity to the universe that contains them. Disharmoniously melding the pulverizing heaviness of Finnish death metal with a never overbearing technicality, Tomb Mold careen through world after world of alien landscape with formidable singularity. Tracked in Toronto, this then landed in the hands of Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Pissgrave, Code Orange) to achieve it's organically huge mix. A remarkable puzzle of an album, Manor Of Infinite Forms constitutes a creative high point for 2018's many strong death metal releases.

CUSSES Announce Debut Self-Titled Album Due Out October 30 (HA! Records) Cusses, the Savannah, GA-based 3-piece rock outfit, are making their long anticipated debut album, the self-titled Cusses, available on October 30 via their own tag, HA! Records. This collection features their MTV-approved first single InchWorst EnemyInch Cusses aren't easy to define. However, whether their guitar driven, fuzzed out brand of music reminds you of The Runaways meets The Ramones or Siouxsie and the Banshees meets Jet, or even Pat Benatar with some heavy handed riot grrrl sass, it is impossible to come away with any other conclusion than this Cusses are bringing back real, effortless, speaker-blasting rock & roll. A band that would be right at home taking center stage at CBGB. Lead singer Angel Bond was introduced to drummer Brian Lackey through mutual friends, and they have not separated since. The two moved from Los Angeles, where they worked in the art department for print and film together, to follow their passion for making music and performing. They headed to Savannah, Georgia in 2009, and met up with Brian's long time friend, guitarist and past band mate, Bryan Harder (they opened for post-hardcore legends Fugazi in their last band together!). The three formed Cusses that summer and played their first show in February 2010. And now their debut album, Cusses. Produced by Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra), Cusses is a relentlessly engaging collection of edgy, refreshing rock. Bond's wistful vocals cut brilliantly through strong, unyielding drum beats and commanding guitar riffs while the layered guitar parts played by Harder eliminate the need for a bassist, reminiscent of 90's grunge era bands. The album features the hard-hitting, high voltage lead single InchWorst EnemyInch, the breezier, misleadingly sunny sounding InchBlood EverywhereInch and the anthemic InchDon't Give InI
![Tomb Mold - Planetary Clairvoyance - COMPACT DISCS [CD]](https://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/BestBuy_US/images/products/9cff4d37-5660-4294-87a9-1257d938d46a.jpg;maxHeight=422;maxWidth=264?format=webp)
Recklessly devouring the world into a vortex of alternate dimensional planes with Manor Of Infinite Forms, Tomb Mold has crashed through boundaries with the impact of an ocean-sized asteroid. Somewhere between outer space, inner space and the unseen dark matter in between all space, they've devised an alchemical formula both crushingly oppressive and rapidly expanding outward in every direction.Waking from stasis for the third time in three years, their new record Planetary Clairvoyance is the sum total of knowledge gained and aeons absorbed, concentrated into a single massive tome of arcane wisdom and implausible physics. Like the album's cover art, it exists in a domain of alien anatomical abnormality, malign flora and cold void desolation, warping and deforming the familiar into unknown obscurity.Tracked in Canada and then mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk once again, the amalgamation of the huge sound of Manor Of Infinite Forms and the gritty particle chaos of Primordial Malignity come into boundless unity on this latest. With the explosive weight of a collapsing black hole, Tomb Mold accelerate unhinged toward infinite resurrection.

Vinyl LP pressing. 2010 sophomore from this outfit formed by former members of Planes Mistaken for Stars. Formed in Chicago in 2003 by guitarist Chuck French and bassist Neil Keener, Git Some has morphed into the lean and mean Denver-based quartet that it is today. French and Keener take the raw-edged guitar and bass tones and riffs for which Planes Mistaken for Stars was well known and render them spikier and more rhythmically intense. Vocalist Lucius Fairchild balances soulful wails and harsh screams; his approach works well with lyrics that avoid broad statements on politics/society in favor of inward looks at a complex, dark and often disturbing personal inner landscape. Drummer Andrew Lindstrom's solid but constantly shifting foundation delivers beats that underline the structure of each song, and intense fills that contribute a sense of spontaneity and surprise.
