Charging my Moto Z2 Force with Tumi Qi Battery
I've had problems in the past getting a low cost qi charger to work with my Moto Z Force and Moto Z2 Force2 phone with the Tumi battery mod. I read a review elsewhere where someone claimed it works fine for this configuration. Not so much for me. After purchasing this stand, I find with the phone standing upright, the charger is constantly attempting to make a connection so it doesn't just charge constantly once connected. Roughly every 7-10 seconds it will look like it's re-establishing a connection to the phone. This is the same condition I found with other chargers. It will probably recharge the phone but I don't care to watch it continue to reset constantly so I don't keep it on. However, unlike other chargers I've tried, if I lay the phone on it's side (portrait), it charges as expected. This I'm okay with this since my screen supports rotation. I would give 5 stars if it charged my phone standing upright. I recognize that this may just be an issue with the moto-mod battery that I have and may work fine for everyone else but I don't have a second moto-mod battery to try.

Only charges in landscape mode
I purchased this product over the Samsung wireless charger because I wanted an angle to see the clock on my nightstand. I also researched getting the lightest case possible so it would work though the case. It charges if I set it as landscape, but not portrait (see picture attached).. I've purchased the new Samsung S7 Edge and because the screen saver displays the clock in portrait mode, I'm forced to look for another product that works to my satisfaction.

Great & Convenient
Not a big deal to use a plug, but this is so convenient and cool. Just put your phone on top and it quick charges up to 100% then stops so you don't have to worry about overheated batteries. Also, love the way it stands vertically. Great charger!
