Take footage of scenery as you drive with this Uniden dash cam. It has a front and rear lens for capturing 1080p video in both directions, and its g-sensor with collision detection automatically saves and records accident events for added peace of mind. This Uniden dash cam has 16GB of storage space and holds approximately one hour's worth of footage.
Q: Did the camera keeps recording when the vehicle is parked at night?
A: I have had mine a few months now. As soon as I turn off my car, it turns off as well. It would be nice if it included a battery as well for parked times. What if someone hit the car when you were not there. Having it run while the car is off would be such a bonus.
A: Short answer, Yes. Long answer, it records a split screen view of both the front and rear cameras. You have one of three options A.) front view only, B.) Rear view only, or C.)Front/Rear view split screen. I believe that the split screen is the default view. Keep in mind that both cameras are locked at 180 from each other. If you tilt the front camera up you are tilting the rear camera down at the same time.
Q: How do I turn off the rear camera ? I just want it to record in forward direction.
A: Push the right directional key once and it brings up the forward view camera and then hit the manual record to record only with the front camera.
A: There is not app for this model . And yes there is a parking mode but it sucks because it really didnt record no motion detection and I live on a busy street
Q: Can I down load Uniden dc360 footage to my iPhone and watch the footage
A: No you cant you will have to hook it up to a computer and look at the footage because it doesnt have wifi or an app
A: I use this camera all the time because I'm an Uber driver and it's basically a necessity in my line of work. Both the forward and interior cameras work very well at night. The interior camera is a little darker but there are a ton of features in the device's menu to draw out the best lighting balance and contrast for your needs. Don't expect it to be like you see in the movies, it doesn't have that green tint or Infrared but it can pick up everything that you can see with great detail. So unless there is absolutely no light outside, you'll surely be satisfied.
Q: Does camera have night vision?
A: NO! I would not call it night vision. It can adjust the exposure for night time but it's not great, it's just ok.
