About this product
UV P?P were an early 80's post-punk group from the South Yorkshire region of England. Their sound was regionally bleak and they used staccato, angular guitars lines, with vocals ranged from spoken repeated mantras to whispered and shouted political poetics. The Rough Trade charts for one week in 1982 tell a very interesting story. Alongside acts of the caliber of Sisters of Mercy, Robert Wyatt, S*x Gang Children and Virgin Prunes are UV P?P, their place well-earned. Album Tracks 1. No Songs Tomorrow 2. Portrait [Extended] 3. Some Win This 4. See You 5. I.C 6. Psalm 7. Sleep Don't Talk 8. Commitment 9. Arcade Fun 10. Hafunkiddies 11. Four Minute Warning

Originally released digitally as two separate volumes in 2022, Wonderwheel is happy to present a 12Inch of Populous' InchMoonbahtonsInch - a collection of dark reggaeton and moonbahton style dance floor tracks influenced by the magic & mystery of the zodiac. Cuts inspired by the zodiac, magic, and mystery of the universe. Things kick off with InchFlauta Magica,Inch focusing around the clave and a brooding synth line and a dembow style beat interweaving itself with the flute & a little bit of acid vibes for good measure, while InchSapo,Inch a distant, foreboding track with a monster of a beat & bassline complimenting a childlike fairy tale melody on top. On the flip, InchGlass DubplateInch is a percussive track with emotive pads, a melody reminiscent of finger piano and synth bleeps, while InchBerlinese DubplateInch goes into tougher, late night territory with deep bass, roiling percussion and dubby electronics. Album Tracks 1. Flauta Magica 2. Sapo 3. Glass Dubplate 4. Berlinese Dubplate
