Ace Frehley / ORIGINS 1 - 2016 album from the former Kiss guitarist. Origins Vol. 1 is a collection of 12 newly recorded classic rockers from Ace s formative years featuring some of the biggest names in music. Most notably, Kiss frontman Paul Stanley joins Ace on Free's cult hit 'Fire and Water'. This collaboration marks the first time that Ace and Paul appear on the same studio recording since Kiss' 1998 reunion album Psycho Circus. Other guests are none other than Slash trading leads on Thin Lizzy's classic 'Emerald', Lita Ford singing and playing lead on The Troggs' #1 smash hit 'Wild Thing', Rob Zombie guitarist John 5 plays guitar alongside Ace as he sings his classic Kiss composition 'Parasite' for the very first time, as well as Jimi Hendrix's 'Spanish Castle Magic'. Pearl Jam's Mike McCready also plays guitar with Ace as he finally sings his Kiss Alive! Mainstay 'Cold Gin'. Origins Vol. 1 is the follow up to Space Invader, released in 2014.

The stage is set, the mic checked and the set list ready. In the early summer of 2011, Brandon Apeles (Anuhea, Amos Lee, Guy Cruz, Matt Costa, Andrew Bird, Owl City) and Shawn Livingston Moseley (Elliot Smith, Metallica, Dave Matthews Band, Converge, Jeff Buckley) agreed to co produce an alternative rock compilation featuring the most promising artists from across the Hawaiian Islands and the top underground talent it had to offer. With over 20 collective years of studio recording, concert touring, live recording, artist management and multiple Na-H-oku -Hanohano and GRAMMY® nominations and wins, the Apeles/Moseley production team set course with a clear and substantial agenda to capture the most slamming and credible audio snapshot of Hawaii's Alternative Rock scene to date. Over 65 artist/musicians and thousands of fans later, Alternative HI is born.

With InchpunkInch evolving in recent years to embrace emo, screamo, and even hardcore, and nerd rappers like Atmosphere headlining the Warped Tour, Epitaph's multi-million selling compilation series PUNK-O-RAMA has evolved to include the myriad new sounds now gathered under the InchpunkInch umbrella. With a new sound comes a new name InchUnsoundInch for the longest running, best-selling cheap comp series in the history of recorded music. UNSOUND features Epitaph legends (Bad Religion, Pennywise), new favorites (From First to Last, Dangerdoom), and new bands destined to be next year's breakouts Escape the Fate, the Draft). Artists on this include the Matches, Motion City Soundtrack, Bouncing Souls, Escape the Fate, from First to Last, Sage Francis, and many more. Bonus DVD contains ten music videos.
