Does just what it is supposed to do!
I use these discs for burning AR-15 instructional DVDs and have not had any problems with them at all!!!! Works GREAT so visit me at Gunbroker and look my name up, Robotix!!!!

Verbatim - Life Series 16x DVD-R Discs
I have never used DVD-R discs before, so I don't know to compare them to other types or brands of DVD-R discs. The discs arrived on time. Nothing was damaged and the discs work well.

good for computers
I use the verbatim dvds to store pictures for family and friends. They are great disks to use. They can also be used for movies and other things like storing files or music even. They work great in my computer. I never have any errors when I use verbatim disk.

Better for storage
After problems with flash drives, I chose to start saving pictures on disks. DVD's hold more data than CD's. I just have to remember to label them. The spools don't take much space and I've never had problems with Verbatim brand items. To some this may be an obsolete form of storage but I don't need the newest or fastest media. This will be sufficient for my needs.

Verbatim is Great Quality
I make back up copies all the time. These DVD-R discs are very reliable and worth the purchase. They work on all sorts of computer drives and dvd/blu-ray players.

How do you get a full length movie onto a disc? 120 minutes is not enough? What do I need to do? Thank you.
The amount of time is dependent on the MPG2 or MPG4 video capture compression ratio. The compression ratio is controlled by the software for the video capture device/recorder. An average compression of 9.7 Mbit/s will give 60 minutes on a 4.7 Gb disc. If the average compression is lowered to 2.5 Mbit/s it will give 240 minutes on a 4.7 Gb disc. The higher the compression the better the video quality.

Can I record just audio music on these?
DVD-R cannot be used to create a music disc for playback using a CD player. A CD-R disc must be used to create a music disc.

can I write on the back of the disc
You can write on the label side of the disc using a felt tip permanent marker such as a the Sanford Sharpie or similar.

These CDs. Can I store documents on them and are they recognizable by Windows 10? I am having trouble finding CDs that meet both of these requirements. If the Answer is no can you direct me to another product that would meet my requirements?
The Life Series 16x DVD-R discs can be used as a data disc to store documents and photos. Must be used with a DVD writer and the writing software should be set to write a data disc. These discs are compatible with Windows 10/11 and Mac OS

Will this disk fit my mini camcorder which takes a small disk.sony handycam
No, this will not work for you. These are full size DVD-R discs, which are 12cm wide. What you are looking for is a Mini DVD-R, which is 8cm in width. Depending on your cameras capabilities the record time is 20 minutes HQ, 30 minutes SP and 60 minutes for LP setting. There are also double sided discs which would double these times. Unfortunately BB does not appear to carry either of these any longer as I saw them as a sold out clearance item. They are still available though on other sites if you search for 8cm DVD-R in your browser. Hope this helps!
