A: Wow...just had the same issue. I am leaving here shortly to head up to the store about this. I also ordered the vent...it came without a motor! This Viking appliance package has been a nightmare! PLUS the salesman never asked me if I wanted my gas stove set up for natural or LP gas! So of coarse the wrong one was ordered! ALSO, I ordered the hook up kits for the washer and dryer and they never delivered the two kits. I am not happy with Best Buy right now.

Dishwasher that doesn’t dry dishes
The salesman never told me this doesn’t dry dishes. Horrible! Didn’t know there were dishwashers that didn’t dry dishes!

Good
So far so good. Although I wish I had been told that I am supposed to add salt to the dishwasher. I came to start the machine and it would not turn on. Come to find out that the machine takes salt, which by the way you can't find it

Failed 3 times in 9 months.
This dishwasher while brand new has now failed 3 times in a 9 month period; each time a different failure mode and each time a run around with Viking customer service trying to first explain it is not working and second, spending the time to schedule a repair. Combined we must have a good 12-15 hours of wasted time asking for support and over a month of downtime without a dishwasher. This is not what one should expect from a luxury brand where despite being under warranty we will be replacing it with another brand.
