Q: What is the difference between the D48-DO and the E48-DO models?
A: Thank you for a great question on our SmartCast™ E48-D0, and a comparison with our D48-D0! Our E48-D0 is a unit with our all-new VIZIO SmartCast™ platform, and can accept content as Casted from your up-to-date iOS or Android smartphone or tablet. It can accept hundreds of applications, like Netflix, Hulu Plus, VUDU, Spotify, HBO NOW, and more! Our D48-D0 is a unit with our VIA Plus platform, and has all applications built in to the TV directly. You're able to access many apps such as Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video, and VUDU, just to name a few. This is the only main difference between these models other than a slight weight difference of about 1lb. If you have any questions or concerns, we encourage you to reach out to our Support team at 844.254.8088. Thanks again and have a great day! -Collin
Q: Does this tv have and optical cable feature?
A: Yes, the TV does have an optical cable port.
Q: Is this tv 240 hz or 120 hz? the overview says 240 but the specifications says 120.
A: NO! this tv is 120hz, says right on the box. It also has something called 240 Motion which tries to simulate smoother frame rates. Every tv manufacturer has this feature and they each call it something different. Vizio chose a name 240 Motion and my opinion it fools people into thinking it's the tv's frame rate. It's not.
