About this product
This album marks the conclusion of Soren Nils Eichberg's residency with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra- a fruitful cooperation that has resulted in a handful of large-scale works, born of Eichberg's keen exploration of the orchestra. In place of the thematic formality of it's predecessor, Symphony No. 3 looks far out, asking looming existential questions to which there aren't always clear answers. As a counterweight, the even more symphonic 'concerto for orchestra' Morpheus revels in color and effect, brining a sense of joy and discovery to the music. Soren Nils Echberg was born in 1973 in Stuttgart, Germany, and grew up in Denmark. He was appointed the first composer in residence in the history of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra in 2010. He currently lives and works in Berlin.

A dangerous concert experience with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. Murder at the Symphony is next in line in their conceptual series, with another exciting concert full of mystery, thrill and popular film music. The Danish National Symphony Orchestra manages to merge the boundaries between classical music and film music like hardly any other orchestra. Discover soundtracks from blood dripping movies and TV series such as Psycho, Vertigo, The Silence of the Lambs, Twin Peaks and Babylon Berlin. It includes an extraordinary interpretation of the hit single Where the Wild Roses Grow, the most successful single by Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds feat. Kylie Minogue. The concert includes soundtracks from hit composers such as Leonard Cohen, Hans Zimmer, Bernard Herrmann and Nino Rota.

Judicator's seventh full-length album, Concord, marks a thematic shift as it delves into the American West, exploring themes of identity, cultural disconnection, and the tension between hope and despair. The album blends Judicator's signature power metal sound with elements of progressive metal, incorporating instruments like fiddle, banjo, and saxophone to enhance it's Americana themes.

The second album from Franz Welser-Mo¨st on The Cleveland Orchestra's in-house tag pairs Schubert's InchGreatInch C Major Symphony with music by the 20th century Austrian-American composer Ernst Kr?enek. These recordings serve as a unique document of the Orchestra's music-making, having been made only days before the coronavirus pandemic forced the temporary shuttering of Severance Hall. Schubert's majestic InchGreatInch C Major Symphony dates from 1825 and was premiered by Felix Mendelssohn in 1839. Kr?enek's suite Static and Ecstatic is music of contrast and extremes, juxtaposing moments of strictly serial music with freely composed material.
