The heart rate monitor works great, giving you better insights into your bike rides and runs. The mapping tools and timing are able to synchronize up to Strava and keep more logs on your activity. The worst part is keeping the strap tight over longer rides but so far, that’s only been a minor inconvenience. I’d recommend this to anyone interested in learning more about their fitness. If you’rea cyclists, they have a newer model that adds a cadence sensor for even more data but this one does all I need to keep me fit.

I'm so glad that I purchased this chest strap HR monitor. I've been trying to watch my heart while running for the last few months (MAF Training) and this product has given me more consistent results than wrist based HR monitors have. Side note - I would highly recommend looking up MAF training if you're trying to run or bike quicker. This monitor links with my Garmin Forerunner 235 and it's able to display my HR while I'm running.

Best heart rate monitor I've ever used. Battery lasts forever, I also love the lights when you turn it on.

Purchased to supplement our at-home "DIY Peloton" set up (affordable spin bike + cadence sensor + app) and very glad that I did to better measure workouts. Reasonably priced and well-built. Paired easily with Garmin cadence sensor, Wahoo app and phone/tablet Bluetooth directly. Huge upgrade from smart watch HR.

I purchased this same product about 2 yrs ago & it stopped connecting to my new iPhone XR even after installing new batteries in the unit. I haven’t had the new unit long enough to know, but hope it’ll last. I don’t have intense workouts. I feel it’s overpriced.

When it works, it’s fine. The problem is how inconsistent it is. The monitor probably only connects with the rower half the time. It would work with the iPhone app, except the app doesn’t track rowing and it thinks I’m 6’1” and 161 pounds, which couldn’t be further from the truth. No idea where it even got that and the app won’t save corrections. If you need a fully functioning heart monitor that can sync with devices and apps, correctly, look elsewhere. Wahoo is a waste of money.

This just works! Easy to set-up with the Wahoo Fitness app and pairs to my iPhone over Bluetooth with ease. Used it for running and cycling and is very comfortable - No need to recharge as it comes with a battery. Highly recommended.
