The skull of a Balrog is an exceptionally rare specimen; due to the creature’s transient nature—composed of shadow and flame—powerful and complex arcane methods were employed to achieve calcification of its remains. Massive in scale, the skull of this Balrog displays elongated, curving horns reminiscent of a goat’s, which appear to fuse seamlessly with the frontal bone to form a protective, armour-like carapace.
