A: Hello, Iglo. The wooden top is not removable. The water usage gallons for HEAVY 7.4 gallons, NORMAL 3.5-7.4 gallons, ECO 2.9 gallons, 1-HR WASH 5.3 gallons, OVERNIGHT 5.2 gallons. A: No the wheels do not lock but when its running it doesn't move from its own forces. Just don't go putting it on a down-word slope.

A: Don't know the size of the hose but the length of the hose is long enough for us to use the dishwasher as it should be used. But honestly we have had 3 bad dishwashers delivered and I believe it is Whirlpools fault. The panels are not put on the sides and they bow out. To me this dishwasher is junk. Try a GE.
