We installed in a rental unit. Easy install, low maintenance. I would prefer manual only controls.

Still doing a good job in Texas.
I'm in Texas and it's keeps a 16x20 room with a metal roof windows and two hours of afternoon sun shining on the metal siding, and it keeps it more than comfortable, keep the filter clean and the user guide for the remote. Highly recommend this unit.
