ZAGG - Sedona Snap Case with Kickstand for Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max - Pitch Black

I have gone through a bunch of cases since getting my 17 Pro Max almost a year ago. I rotate them out because there is always something off about each one: too thick, too thin, buttons that are hard to press, weak magnets, etc. The Sedona case from ZAGG is pretty close to perfect. It feels sturdy and protective while remaining thin and light enough for comfortable, extended use. The buttons are very clicky and responsive, and all the cutouts provide easy access to the charging port. I especially like the camera button area—it has a slightly raised border that protects it without hindering responsiveness. The materials feel premium as well. You get a secure, grippy texture around the edges paired with smooth plastic on the back. The magnets are strong, and all my accessories attach securely. The hideaway kickstand folds completely flush when not in use, snaps shut firmly, and easily pops out to prop the phone vertically or horizontally. I really love this case; it has stayed on my phone far longer than any other. Everything about it is well-designed, functional, and great to use.

The case provides a good grip with all around protection though I also suggest a separate screen protector when it comes to iphone pros and pro maxes. There are good indents on the sides especially for the action and camera button that work well, and the rest of the buttons covers on the sides work well and respond quite decent. This is MagSafe compatible and it works with all my MagSafe chargers and accessories (MagSafe phone grips); And the MagSafe outline is a raised/embossed black just like the case that blends in well verses on some other brands its an all white which may look appealing to some but no for me. I like the stealth look of that MagSafe area. I find the covering area of the pro camera on the back to be unique somewhat that almost gives it a “pre-iphone 17 pro look” (like the 16, 15 and 14 pro) still have your light and other lens on the far right). The stand works fine in the horizontal position; ok in the vertical but sometimes a touch can topple it over so id would be gentle on that part but works best during horizontal positioning especially watching reels on social media or movies. With that being said and Zagg being in the protective case business for phones and tablets and smartwatches I believe; certainly give this case a try along with a screen protector

The ZAGG Sedona Snap Case with Kickstand is a sleek yet durable case. Received this to tryout and was excited to as i had already gone through 2 official Apple cases and had issues of it falling apart. First off this snapped snug to the phone and was easy to put on. Plus the grip felt really good and didn't feel like it was going to slip out of my hand. This is big to me because I work out side in the humidity, Rain and different elements. So I can safely say I have ample time to test this case, and after weeks of use and going through storms, 100+ heat and being dropped on the ground this case has made it through with barely any scuffs. The outer shell is fully in tact and no separating. The bonus feature of this case is that it has a kickstand! I was worried that it might be to bulky or feel intrusive in my hands. It did not, its recessed just enough that it blends in with the shell body. It is thin metal but propping phone up horizontally was easy as pie to watch some videos. Vertical was great for facetiming, i did feel if i pressed a button to hard it would tip over so i just adjusted to touch lightly and no issue. I will say the grip is my favorite part with its side recess allows for my finger tips to fit it perfectly. This is my daily case now and I love it. It has no issues with charging cords fitting or receiving the wireless charging in truck or at home. Closing: If you are looking for a durable, protective, that's sleek, functional and will last grab this one.

Zagg has always made great cases and this one is no exception. It provides excellent drop protection for your phone, but of course at a bit of cost in the way of bulkiness - it's not horrible and is what's to be expected of a case that offers thorough drop protection, but worth noting especially on the 17 or 18 Pro Max which are already big phones. The Magsafe integration is perfect and works as you would expect. No problem gripping and staying put on my car mount or bedside charger. The addition of a kickstand is a really useful feature, allowing you to easily prop your phone up at work for use without holding or horizontally on a plane to watch videos hands free. Looks-wise, there's nothing to complain about, but also nothing to get too excited about. It's a very plain, simple case that does what it's meant to do. If you're someone who needs that extra bit of protection because you're prone to drops then you might as well also get the extra function of the kickstand. And of course no one should ever use a case without Magsafe because that's the best feature of modern iPhones. Overall, this is a really great case - what you see is what you get. If you like what you see you will be happy with the case for sure!

Overall, I like this case. It’s solid, fits snugly, and was very easy to install. It didn’t interfere with my screen protector, which is a plus. The material feels good in hand with just enough grip without feeling slippery or cheap. I also like the built-in MagSafe, the raised lip that protects the camera lenses, and how the case covers and protects the buttons and openings. Everything fits nicely, and the buttons are still easy to use. As far as protection, I accidentally dropped my phone while using this case, and thankfully, the phone was completely fine. So far, I’m happy with how well it protects my phone. My only complaint is the kickstand. I really like having it for watching movies or videos without holding my phone, but the stand itself feels a little too thin. When opening it, you have to extend it all the way until it clicks into place. The clicking sound honestly makes me feel like I’m going to break it. It works fine, but I’m not sure how well it will hold up with repeated use. Overall, it’s a solid case that feels well-made and provides good protection. I would recommend it, but I think ZAGG could improve the kickstand by making it a little sturdier and easier to open.
