Simple fridge, no frills
The fridge is just the right size for our condo. I like that the door hinges can be switched to the opposite side…it was a little time consuming but I managed to get it done. I hope that this fridge will last a little longer than our previous one, I guess that’s what warranty is for.

So disappointed in Maytag-
So disappointed in Maytag as the deli drawer has a bad design defect and constantly falls off the tracks and have had a designated Whirlpool repair service out and cannot seem to get it fixed. Because the unit is next to the wall, the door does not swing out wide and it is almost impossible for me to get it back on the track - such a struggle. Now the freezer is not cooling correctly and waiting on that to be repaired. I am older and have saved to buy this refrigerator as I hoped to have the peace of mind of a brand new reliable product , but not so, and I do not believe there is a permanent fix for the deli drawer and when my one year warranty is up, I am stuck with a defective product and no peace of mind. Then, what next will go wrong with it? Since it is a design defect Maytag, which is a Whirlpool product, should make this right and other reviews have also indicated problems with the deli drawer.

Got What I wanted
Just what I wanted. A basic unit, adjustable shelves. Not much to break 5 years down the road. Easy to clean and no handles to bang into, when moving around in the kitchen.
