Cheap and overpriced

The holes for attaching the kit are awkwardly angled. The screws end up too close to the edges of the opening. This creates the risk of splintering the wood. The only solace I can take is that I got it on clearance. It's certainly not worth the MSRP.

Looks great but too expensive

The trim kits are not universal between brands so we didn’t really have much of a choice in the matter. The industry knows this and will charge whatever they want. It was easy enough to install but you’re paying a lot for a rectangular piece of plastic with a shiny stainless steel coating.

Q: QuestionWe are trying to find a microwave and trim kit in stainless steel finish that will fit an opening that is 25 1/4” wide x 16 1/4” tall x 23 1/2” deep. The overall width of the existing microwave plus trim kit is 30”. Suggestions??? Thanks.

- A:Answer Model JES2051SNSS is designed to be used on the countertop. It isn't able to be built-in and is not compatible with a trim kit. We do have other models that can be built-in, including PEB7227ANDD.
