THE LATEST GENIE HD DVR
Your 4K experience starts with a Genie, DIRECTV's most advanced HD DVR. Model HR54 is required to view 4K Ultra HD channels.
Professional installation and 4K account authorization are also required. Additional and advanced receiver fees apply.
A 4K ULTRA HD TV
You will need a TV that supports the latest HDMI 2.0 specification and HDCP 2.2 content security. In addition, your 4K TV must support a minimum of 60MHz (60 frames per second). If you've purchased your 4K Ultra HD TV at Best Buy, you're set. However, if your 4K Ultra HD TV is not DIRECTV-ready, you'll need to connect it to a 4K Genie Mini (Model C61K).
