Poor craftmanship of hood.
Our experience with Best Buy was fantastic, and even Thermador’s support communication wasn’t bad. However, the craftsmanship of this product is quite poor. The first unit we received had a crooked shape and misaligned edges, clearly indicating a lack of quality control. We contacted Thermador support, who sent a technician that confirmed it was a manufacturing defect. The replacement took about two months to arrive. When it finally did, the installation team (a third-party contractor, not Thermador employees) broke the screws during installation and couldn’t complete the setup. They returned the next day with a fixed hood, but we soon noticed that this replacement also suffered from poor craftsmanship — rough edges, visible welding marks, stiff motion, and a metal-scratching noise. We’ve now made our peace with it, as we’re too fed up and exhausted to deal with support again.

Looks good, does the job and easy to use. We cook Indian food and surprisingly it's plenty powerful to suck all the fumes.

Great thermador pairing
If an average to small kitchen, a great pairing with Thermador range. With recirculating kit addition will allow you to avoid a more significant remodel.
