Q: This is obviously ran by batteries right? How often do you have to change it?
A: I've had it for 2 years and ive changed the batterries twice. I consider myself tech savvy and setting this up after a battery change is a pain.
Q: can fingerprints be lifted from sensor
A: Hello!! Our fingerprint reader is biometric so need body heat and a number of other components in order for anyone to gain access to your lock. Lifting a fingerprint off of your lock will not work with our locks.
A: If you go to app you can delete fingerprints also yes a key comes with it just in case you should need one or you could also input a code I have it has a deadbolt and it’s been an amazing product
Q: does it fit a 3 inches door??
A: Hi! Lockly Secure Plus is designed to fit doors with a thickness between 1⅜ inches to 2 inches. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with a 3-inch thick door without modification. Q: Can this work for Andersen sliding doors???
A: It would depend on your particular design of sliding doors, however, the general answer is, no, the Lockly Secure Plus Deadbolt will not. Lockly does offer other models in our Pro line that are specifically designed to work on sliding doors, and we would suggest alternatively to have you look into these models.
A: Yes, you can hook this lock up with the wifi hub sold separately. I do believe you can hook more than one lock to the hub but you should definitely verify with LOCKLY website for further information since I only have one lock hooked up to the hub.
Q: What other apps work with this dead bolt? IE Alexa, Google ?
A: Yes, you can lock with Alexa. Personally, I set timers for security. My boys often forget to lock the door, so i have it set to lock itself if left inlocked for 60 minutes. The time limit is up to you.

Great Door Lock!
I bought this for added security in my home and to help me know whomwas coming in and out (and when). This had been an excellent source of peace and comfort to my increasing need for personal security. I HIGHLY recommend getting this and the extension option!

Touchscreen Cannot Handle Sun
I purchased this lock 2 years ago. At first it was great, but after 1 year, the numbers were illegible in the late afternoon. I am assuming that this lock cannot handle direct sun. The front of my house gets the afternoon sun. Now, the numbers are always illegible. I can still use the fingerprint sensor, but no one can enter a code. Resetting after changing the batteries is a chore. Ive changed the batterries twice and had to spend alot of time trying to get ut back online. If you think you're going to quickly change the batteries before you leave the house. Plan it so you have plenty of time to troubleshoot. It will take longer than you think.

Works well, easy to install
Easy to setup, instructions are great. Only items of caution is that the deadbolt is larger than normal, so you may need to bore a larger hole. Also, it connects to Wi-Fi, but only if you buy another specific piece of equipment.
