Q: Can the doors be switched around to open from the right vs. left? thanks
A: Yes, the doors can be switched (this was one of the criteria I looked for prior to purchasing).
Q: Is this refrigerator frost-free? The specs states it's manual defrost.
A: We've had ours for close to a year - see no frost yet and works great.
A: Hey, Beth! The sides on the model you selected are black. ~Courtney
Q: How hard is it to REVERSE the door Hinge. Do you have to drill and tap anything?
A: Hey, Bernie! The door hinge on the model you selected is not hard to reverse. We recommend reviewing page 6 of the Use and Care guide for further instructions. The manual can be located by visiting https://files.bbystatic.com/bewwIhNYa7cqYL3goUdwoQ%3D%3D/F534318E-A82C-486A-9F08-6892C15947C6.pdf ~Courtney
A: Hello Lois! The model FFHT1425VW is not garage ready. It is also disclosed on the website. Go to "Show Full Specs" and under features to know more. -Yhano
Q: Is there an energy saver mode on the fridge? I recently got it and my electricity bill skyrocketed!
A: Hi, Av! Thank you for this inquiry and for reaching out. This unit doesn’t have a specific “energy saver” mode, but it does have features designed to be energy efficient and is already Energy Star® certified. Ensure the refrigerator and freezer are set to the recommended temperatures. Usually, 37°F (3°C) for the refrigerator and 0°F (-18°C) for the freezer are ideal. Setting them colder than necessary can increase energy consumption. Check the door seals and make sure that they are tight and not leaking air. We hope you find this information helpful! ~Juan
A: Hi Davey! Yes, according to the official Frigidaire specifications/manual for the 13.9 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator (models like FFHT1425VW/VB/VV), the cabinet depth (without the door) is listed as: Depth of cabinet (without door): 25-1/4″ (25.25 inches). Key Depth Measurements from the Manual/Specs - Cabinet Depth (depth without the door): 25-1/4″ - Depth with door closed (but without handle): ~29-3/8″ - Depth with door open 90°: ~53-5/8″ If your RV opening only allows for about 25¼″ of depth, this fridge’s cabinet (excluding doors) should fit, but be sure to allow extra room for clearance and leveling. - Maico

Great fridge and has space for everything we'd need, but I wish it had a dedicated place for a couple of sticks of butter.

This refrigerator was replacing one from the 1960s so of course it was quite a nice step up. The fridge isn't what I would call "full size" but it's certainly at least 3/4ths of what I would call full size. This could easily store everything 2-3 people need so perhaps not a full family but a great apartment option. Using the recommended temperature dial setting everything stays cold and doesn't run too long or too loud. The feature where the door helps shut itself is great, it makes it really obvious if you left the fridge open and when it's closed it assures you it's closed and not open a crack. The refrigerator has nice LED lights on the inside that illuminate the whole cabinet (the freezer is unlit). The shelves in both halves are very adjustable, certainly one configuration will fit your need, the deli drawer can even slide laterally to relocate itself. I do like the handle, it's different from having the handle on the front but I don't find it hard to open the top or bottom, though kids might not be able to reach the handles. The fridge we received had a dented side and didn't sit level, but Best Buy was willing to take some money off the purchase price since I didn't think it was worth a whole return so that's great on their part, gives me confidence buying appliances at BB. The dent is not the fault of the fridge itself so I'm not taking off a star, if your unit is undamaged I'm sure you'll like it. Despite the lean we had to fix, the fridge itself does great, if it comes back in stock I'd highly recommend.
