This Frigidaire 33" Side-by-side refrigerator offers our EvenTemp Cooling System which reacts quickly to temperature fluctuations and constantly circulates cold air throughout the fresh food and freezer compartments, ensuring a consistent cool from top to bottom.
Q: Does the water from the dispenser come out cold?
A: No it does not. But in my research I’ve seen that most refrigerators now do not come with a reservoir at the bottom whereas older refrigerators had that and that’s why the water was cold.
A: Hi, Suebassoon! Yes, this model comes with adjustable front rollers anchored by leveling screws for easy transport and positioning. They are accessible by taking off the front toe grill! Instructions are on pages 7 and 8 of the Owner's Manual. ~Ashton
A: Hi TheNetherland, based on the Frigidaire side‑by‑side refrigerator owner’s manual and common troubleshooting info for that type of model (like your 22.3 cu ft side‑by‑side), here’s why you’re hearing a loud motor‑type noise from the freezer that stops when you open the fridge/freezer door: What’s Likely Happening 1. Evaporator fan noise when doors are closed - Inside the freezer is an evaporator fan that circulates cold air through the freezer and fresh food compartment. When a fridge door is opened, the refrigerator electronics usually shut the fan off so you don’t lose cold air, which explains why the noise stops as soon as you open the door. When the door closes, the fan restarts and the loud noise returns. 2. The fan might be worn or obstructed - If the fan motor bearings are wearing out or ice has built up around the fan blades, the sound can be louder than normal, often a grinding, humming, or vibrating motor‑type noise. Ice buildup can happen if the defrost system isn’t working perfectly or if moisture enters the freezer compartment. 3. Not a panel or bottom motor - Since you checked and cleaned the compressor/motor at the bottom and it didn’t change anything, it’s expected that the motor usually runs quietly and doesn’t stop when doors open. The sound coming from the freezer area points to internal airflow/fan components rather than the compressor. Many sounds are normal, including fan airflow and compressor hum, but a loud buzzing or loud motor hum that clearly changes when doors open and close is usually fan‑related. What You Can Check 1) Ice buildup around the evaporator fan Remove the shelves and the rear interior freezer panel (if you’re comfortable doing that), and check for ice or frost around the fan blades. Ice hitting the blades will make a loud noise as it spins. 2) The fan itself Try turning the fan blade by hand (with the fridge unplugged). If it feels rough or doesn’t spin freely, the fan motor may be failing. 3) Defrost Function Ice buildup can be a sign of a defrost system issue. If defrost isn’t working, ice will accumulate and cause noise. Likely Fixes - Thaw the freezer fully unplugged for a few hours to melt ice around the fan. - Replace the evaporator fan motor if the bearing is failing. - Ensure freezer door seals properly, so moisture doesn’t enter and freeze around the fan. If, after checking/defrosting the fan area, the noise persists, the fan motor itself may need replacement, which is common on Frigidaire models with noisy internal fans. Technician service can diagnose and change that part safely if you’re not comfortable doing it yourself. - Maico

So after much research on this Frigidaire model (Model:FRSS2323AS SKU:6506202) I had my reservations about this model due to some of the lower ratings. However the wife insisted on this one (Happy wife happy life). This review is based on only having it for 2 days. I'll update as needed if needed in 6 months. Here are the issues I had w it from day of delivery that match the comments from the lower stars. 1) The doors not being level on delivery. Not sure why they would not level the doors at the factory but odds are if you buy this the doors will need to be leveled off. Frigidaire knows it's an issue due to the fact they include seperate paperwork just for that issue. Is it fixable? Yes. Should it be done at the factory? YES. Also the intructions have the wrong size wrench to use to level the door. It's an 11mm not a 12mm. Also they only tell you to level it via the nut at the bottom of the doors. I did that but then the door scraped the top plastic cover bracket when opening the door. Had to remove the plastic cover and loosen the bolts on the top of the door to shift it to make it level so it wouldn't scrape. Again the consumer should not have to do this, it should be done at the factory. 2) Space. Regardless of the cubic ft space (It has more then our old refidgerator) unless you have a small and I mean small family you will not have enough space for you food or freezer items. Part of the issue I believe, which you will see in other low star comments, are the lack of options for the interior spacing of the shelves. Better hope you don't have leftovers because they won't fit. Also the doors on the refridgerator door shoul have 1 more shelf included to give it a bit more storage. I'll have to look to see if I can buy one but it really should be included from factory. 3) No Deli Drawer. I'm guessing they don't have one due to the fact it would tie up too much of the little space it already lacks. Also no egg shelf which I'm not sure how many refrigerators have them but our old one did and it was convient. I've had no issues w the water leaking as some others have had so that's good. Just make sure your water supply line into the fridge IS NOT from a self piercing type shutoff valve. Not sure why but they made sure to capitalize IS NOT from. As far as the comments saying it's loud I'm not noticing that at all. I will say the ice maker dropping ice is obnoxiously loud but that may go away once it's filled.

This is a very nice refrigerator. The extra depth was ideal for the limited width space that we had. Overall I am very satisfied with it's appearance and performance.
