I recently replaced my V5 Shift (which I unfortunately lost) with this new model. While I really like the addition of GPS for green depth, which helps me gauge room in front or behind the pin, I’ve found the laser performance disappointing compared to my old V5 Shift. The laser frequently locks onto background objects ("noise") instead of the intended target, and the jolt confirmation often reinforces these inaccurate readings. This forces me to double-check measurements against the GPS, which slows down play and becomes frustrating. I really wanted to like this device, but the inconsistency of the laser readings has been a major drawback. I hope this issue can be addressed with a software update in the near future.

works great, very clear lens and love the confirmation vibration that yardage confirmed.

I had first tried a Garmin one, but it did not interface with my Garmin S70 watch. After dealing with that frustration I decided to go the Bushnell route and absolutely love it.
